Drakken's Origin_Kinda Sorta

As told from Royce Mumphries' perspective, he's sharing information with Freakazoid about his cousin Drakken. Part of him telling this story are with the aid of old photos and the rest by word of mouth.

This series of sketches kind of helped me work through a few plot points for my stories "Drakken's Memoir" and "Integration". This just confirms where I wanted to go in tying together the Freakazoid and Kim Possible universe.

This also helped me explain all the weird little idiosyncrasies and appearance of Drakken that the actual cartoon failed to explain. Whatever the cartoon had to offer were really stupid and silly reasons and terribly illogical. Despite this being a fictional story, I want the story to seem like it actually makes sense. Logic in an illogical world where magic, mutants, aliens, etc exist. Basically hell in a hand basket. Somehow it all works. Who'da thunk it?

Reworking ideas from the canon series into my own made it so much more enjoyable and gave me a great deal more to work with. It's funny how you'll notice the characters from two completely different series can relate and it amazes me how well they work out...

This bit helps you to understand my crazy brain in addition to this giving me an excuse to try my hand at Drawing a younger NORMAL Drakken in my own style. ZOMG, POCKET PROTECTOR HARRY-POTTER-GLASSES-WEARIN' DRAKKEN!

...god it's weird drawing Drakken with normal ears. It's just wrong. It's like, there's a disturbance in the force or something. The wrongness ಥ_ಥ zomg, I love his ears, even if some people think I make him look retarted. lol.
